the sound of feathers from afar
Climbing in behind the sky

A long time ago she had to let him go

Spread her wings into the sky
Christmas cards and calenders and
pictures to remember when
Horses running on the beach and
sisters smiling once again
Memories marking time packed into a shed
Thanks to Walmart super sale packed them up so tight
Reaching way back through the years
to finally erase the slate
Wipe away the tears from debts
she thought she had to pay
For so long yeah they’re finally gone no more holding on
She’s found a way to let them go
